A Day with Dan from Image Three Sixty
At Moorland Rovers, we believe that every Land Rover Defender we restore has a story to tell. These vehicles are more than just cars—they’re symbols of adventure, resilience, and timeless British style. Each Defender comes with their own story and life before Moorland Rovers and it is our job to preserve their unique character whilst upgrading and modernising everything else!
New for 2025, to showcase each MLR’s defender’s story, we are now offering something truly special to our customers: a bespoke build book documenting the entire restoration process. This is where Dan from Image Tree Sixty comes in.

A Day on Dartmoor
Dan joined us recently for a day out on epic Dartmoor, where he captured through his expert lens, the essence of a true Moorland Rovers Girls, the Iconic Sedona Sundog. He produced for us a range of stills, website videos, and reels. Dan brings a unique creative edge to everything he touches. His ability to craft visual stories aligns perfectly with our mission of showcasing the adventure, the passion and the precision behind every build.
Working with Dan felt like having an old friend on the team. He fit in seamlessly, making everyone feel at ease while capturing candid moments that truly represented the heart of Moorland Rovers. The day was filled with laughter, creativity, and plenty of Defender admiration as Dan worked his magic. His professional yet approachable nature made the entire experience not just productive but genuinely enjoyable. Can we call it work, when we are having so fun? …..

The Build Book
New for 2025, every customer who purchases a Moorland Rovers Custom Built Defender will receive a one-of-a-kind build book. This book takes them on a photographic journey through the restoration process, starting from the moment the original vehicle arrives at our MLR workshop all the way through to their custom MLR Defender leaving for the Shipping Port in Southampton. Through some fabulous photography, done by Dan and the MLR team, the build book documents each step:
• Dismantling the vehicle: Capturing the meticulous process of taking the car apart bolt by bolt, nut by nut, panel by panel.
• Restoration: Showcasing the craftsmanship, skill, and dedication of our team as we restore each piece to its former glory.
• Local Suppliers: Highlighting the contributions of our incredible local suppliers who help make each restoration a masterpiece.
Both owner Brad and photographer Dan have a hawk’s eye for detail which elevates the quality of these build books, making them not only a cherished keepsake for our customers but also a testament to the pride we take in our work. The photography doesn’t just capture vehicles—it captures the story, care, and passion behind them.
