SKYLARK

We purchased Skylark from Moorland Rovers in 2022. She is anamazing soft-top D90 finished in Arles Blue. The rich color complements the Exmoor top and trim beautifully. Everywhere we go, people stop and look and ask about Skylark and her history. I always enjoy showing the interior: its right-hand drivesteering wheel and the wood trim rear deck floor and seat stands sourced from Dartmoor! The custom painted wheels and grille are amazing additions. The diesel engine provides predictable power and acceleration. I only with that I could have driven her touring the Southwestern UK countryside before she was sent to the U.S.

From my first contact with Brad and Ernest, they have been a sheer joy to work with: accessible, timely, pleasant and, especially, clearly passionate about their work and vocation. I have never hesitated to contact them about our truck as I sought to become educated and build my expertise about its operation. Their advice has been greatly appreciated.

We have thoroughly enjoyed driving Skylark in beautiful sunny Colorado – a great place to have a soft-top! We look forward to continuing our relationship with Brad and his dedicated team. TIDAL WAVE

I am almost a year and a half into receiving Tidalwave, and I have to say that she only gets better with age.

Initially when we started this process, I was nervous that the vision I had in my mind would not fully translate to the truck I ultimately received. I could not have been more unnecessarily apprehensive. The time you took to fully understand my vision and your adherence to that vision resulted in EXACTLY what I was hoping for.

The process of getting the Tidalwave to the states and then getting her registered and inspected in New York were incredibly easy – I was initially worried that these processes would be difficult but that could not have been further from the truth. I actually had a more difficult problem registering a brand-new car I had purchased in another state during the pandemic.

Tidalwave quickly became our family’s favorite car, so much so that I often have to explain to my children why we aren’t taking her out with the top off when it’s raining. She is an absolute beast and I cannot thank you enough for all the love you put into building her – it clearly shows.

I can’t wait to work with you again as soon as I am able to convince my wife we also need a 110.

Sand Dune

Bradley and Ernest ,

I just wanted to check in with a quick update on Sand Dune to let you know I could not be happier with this amazing truck. She has the exact qualities I had been hoping to find in a Defender and had been wondering if I was going to be able to find one in such good condition.

I am so appreciative of all of Ernest’s time and efforts to show me every detail of the vehicle via FaceTime, since I wasn’t able to travel and see her in person. It takes a large amount of trust to move on a remote purchase, but I felt like I was making a solid choice after working with you both.

As far as getting Sand Dune registered and inspected in Massachusetts, I had no issues at the RMV, as all of your documentation was so solid – so feel free to let others know who may be thinking this could be a challenge. Even though she is a 1997 diesel RHD, I had no issues getting a title or inspection here. She must have been meticulously maintained over the years, because she still drives like a dream – lots of power, and cruises easily on the highway at 60mph.

Thanks again and feel free to share this with others who are looking into Moorland! My neighbors will be reaching out soon for their own Defender, as they are obsessed haha.

Harford

“I had the pleasure of working with Bradley and Ernest when purchasing Harford (aka Georgia Green, her new name).

They were super responsive during the entire process, even taking a virtual tour (AND RIDE!) in the car with us on the phone to show how amazing the car is. I was able to do a mechanic inspection with a mechanic of our choice and they even helped us find a shipper. They provided ALL the import documents, including even a registration from Italy! This was super helpful in California where older Defenders are labeled as gray market cars and all this information was super useful to legally register the vehicle.

The car was in great condition and as original as they come/no aftermarket parts, which also made registration easier for us in CA. The guys have checked in with us and were there to answer questions after delivery as well. I love driving Georgia around the LA hills.
