Drakeland: From Farm life in the Uk to Farm life in WA

After spending the first 25 years of her life roaming the countryside of rural South West England on a farm in Somerset, not far from the famous festival town of Glastonbury, Drakeland has now made a rather long journey west to start an exciting new life on the DeSpain Land & Cattle Co  ranch in Edwall, WA. 

Her first stop on this journey was with us here at Moorland Rovers HQ, on the south banks of Dartmoor, where she underwent a sympathetic but comprehensive refurbishment. She then set sail for the USA, crossing the Atlantic, with her final destination unknown. 

As she was just about to arrive on US soil, Drakeland’s next chapter started to take shape – she was going to be heading across the country  to a new home in the Pacific North West. 

After a quick pit stop in Atlanta, GA Drakeland was loaded up onto a transporter and started the final leg of her journey, a 2600 mile road trip to the DeSpain Land & Cattle Co Ranch in Edwall, WA.

It is wonderful to see that Drakeland is going to be going from farm life in the UK to Farm Life in USA, and is going to be put to use in her natural habitat out on the ranch. 

We can’t wait to see what she gets up to over the coming years, and we wish her new owners all the best with their new truck!
