Take a look inside our brand-new **automotive spray booth and paint facility at Moorland Rovers**, designed to take our Land Rover restoration and vehicle refinishing work to the next level.
In this video, we’re joined by Sally from **Rowley Spray Booths** for a full tour of our newly commissioned bespoke spray booth installation. We talk through the project from the initial design and planning stages to the finished bodyshop facility — including the challenges of designing a spray booth around our existing workshop space.
Bringing our paintwork in-house has been a major step forward for Moorland Rovers. Previously, restoration paintwork had to be outsourced, which meant working around external schedules. Our new dedicated paint facility gives us much greater control over **quality, workflow and turnaround times**.
We take a closer look at the features of the new setup, including: • Full-size Maxi automotive spray booth • Full-gridded floor and downdraft airflow • Advanced filtration to minimise dust and overspray • Integrated heating and bake cycles • High-quality booth lighting • Dedicated ventilated paint mixing room • Paint gun cleaning area • Space for complete vehicles as well as individual restoration panels • A bespoke layout designed around our workshop and restoration workflow
The booth has been designed to accommodate everything from individual panels and complete classic Land Rover restorations to full vehicles requiring paint and refinishing work.
We also show the booth in action with a BMW X1 undergoing bonnet paintwork, demonstrating how the downdraft system, filtration, lighting and bake cycle help our technicians achieve a high-quality finish straight from the gun.
For us, this investment is about more than a new spray booth. It gives the Moorland Rovers team greater control over the entire restoration process and allows us to deliver consistently high-quality paintwork as part of our **Land Rover restoration, bodywork and vehicle refinishing services**.
